D’Amato Builders + Advisors completed the renovation of several projects at 215 Park Street which now houses classrooms for Yale’s School of Art and School of Architecture. Designed by James Gamble Rogers, this structure was built as a Jr. Fraternity House in 1931. The rectilinear brick Collegiate Gothic building with Tudor Revival details has steep gables and slate roofs. The building has 2 floors, a basement, and unfinished attic. DB+A’s work included constructing a sound-proof room in the lower level, building a fire rated room, new HVAC, electrical and security systems, millwork refurbishing, and repairing plaster walls.
